Terms of Service
1. Who these terms are with
They are an agreement between Piotr Łatanik, ul. Marii Konopnickiej 61/147, 30-302 Kraków, Poland (sole trader registered in CEIDG, NIP 6783219142, REGON 529369773), called "we" below, and the organization that signs up, called "you". If you accept these terms for a company, you confirm that you are allowed to bind it.
2. What Biurio does
Biurio lets a team book desks by the day. It holds your offices, floors, floor plans, zones and desks, takes bookings and repeat bookings, runs a waitlist, records check-ins, shows who is in on a given day, reports on usage for admins, and can send notifications by email and, if you connect them, to Slack or Microsoft Teams.
3. Accounts and organizations
- You need an account to use Biurio. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used them.
- Whoever creates an organization becomes its first admin. Admins can invite and remove members, see and manage bookings, export data, and delete the organization together with everything in it. If your employer's admin removes you, your access ends.
- Give accurate details, and use a working email address that belongs to you.
4. Your data stays yours
Everything you put into Biurio remains yours. We use it to run the service for you and for nothing else, other than aggregate figures that identify nobody, which we use to keep the service healthy. We do not sell it and we do not train machine learning models on it. How we handle personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
5. Fair use
Do not use Biurio unlawfully. Do not try to reach another organization's data or to defeat the separation between organizations. Do not probe, scan or load test the service without our written permission. Do not resell it. Do not upload content you have no right to upload, including floor plans that are not yours to share. If an account is causing harm we may suspend it, and we will tell you why.
6. Availability
We aim to keep Biurio available, and we host it in the EU. We do not offer a service level agreement yet. While the product is in early access there will be maintenance and there may be short interruptions. We will not run maintenance that destroys data without telling you first.
7. Plans and fees
- There is a free plan and a paid plan. The current limits and prices are on the pricing section of our site, and they form part of these terms.
- The paid plan is charged per active user per billing period. An active user is a member with at least one booking created during that period. A booking an admin makes on a colleague's behalf counts for the colleague, not for the admin. Someone who books nothing in a period is not charged for that period.
- Paid plans are billed monthly through our payment processor. Taxes are added where they apply.
8. Going past the free plan
When an organization exceeds the free plan's limit on active users in a period, new bookings are blocked until an admin upgrades. Bookings already made keep working.
9. If a subscription lapses
An organization whose payment has failed or whose subscription has lapsed goes read-only: existing bookings still stand and can still be seen, and new bookings are paused until the billing problem is fixed. Nothing is deleted for non-payment.
10. Ending it
You can stop using Biurio at any time. An admin can delete the whole organization from the Privacy screen in the admin area. Deletion is scheduled rather than immediate: an admin can cancel it during the grace period, and once that passes the data is gone permanently and we cannot bring it back. Export what you need first. We may end this agreement if you breach these terms and do not put it right within a reasonable time of being asked.
11. What we promise, and what we do not
Biurio is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of faults. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and where you deal with us as a consumer your statutory rights are unaffected.
12. Liability
To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability arising out of this agreement is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Changes
We may change the service and these terms. For material changes to the terms we will tell organization admins by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Carrying on using Biurio after that means you accept them. If you do not, you can delete your organization and stop.
14. Which law applies
The law of Poland governs this agreement, and the courts of Kraków, Poland have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you may have where you live.
